If you eat at Melisse, I would recommend David be your waiter. He is one of the best, most knowledgeable, and most accommodating waiters I have experienced. He worked hard to individualize our experience. We all had the prix fixe menu (87) and parts of it were astounding (the truffle crusted lamb, sweet corn ravioli) and parts were bland (halibut, tuna tartare). The optional cheese tray was truly a joy. Although the wine list gave us a lot to be excited about in many price ranges, I was a little underwhelmed by the entire experience. For the price, I should have walked out planning my next visit there for a special occasion, and I cannot say that I will return.
