We traveled in our business for 8 years and were in all 48 states, Canada, and Mexico. We ate at thousands of restaurants. We found the steak at Johns Flaming Hearth, in the top 3 steak restaurants in the U.S. We live in SE Alabama, but I am originally from Texas where steak is sacred! Johns is one of the best! Of the other two, one is in Panama City Beach, Florida, and on in Tennessee.
Of course, if you eat steak ""well done,"" almost any restaurant may be acceptable, as the purity of taste, and meat quality is strongly degraded by over cooking.
