A longer 9 hole course 5/27/2005

Pruneridge course is where we go when we'd like a longer course than Sunken Gardens but don't want to play a full 18. It's not as nice as Sunken Gardens since the greens are often browner and it doesn't seem as well kept. But it is more challenging and it is a longer course. There really are only two nine hole courses that are close to town (if you don't want to play a front or back nine of a regulation course), so if you've played Sunken Gardens and want to try something different, you should try Pruneridge. I like it here since it's longer and therefore you get a little more for your money. For 17 dollars it's a fun course to play. I honestly don't like to play golf for the whole day so I enjoy playing at nine hole courses where there are no par 5's. It rarely gets backed up at Pruneridge, so you can expect to finish within three hours. I think it's pretty good for beginners, so often times you see newbies on the course. PROS: longer short course, nine holes, no par 5's, onl more
