Last year we began the process for building a home and went shopping for the best rates and lowest fees. Wells Fargo offered both.
Their mortgage specialist was a complete dream. She handled everything and kept me informed. If she needed something she'd call well in advance to inform me what was needed. If nothing was needed, she'd still call me every once in a while to let me know that all was going well.
I loved being kept informed and as she put it, "Let me do all the work. You just concentrate on your house."
She worked with our builder throughout the process and would speak to him directly so I was not caught in the middle. It eliminated any miscommunication or misunderstandings. We were all on the same page with no surprises.
Closing went smoothly and on time. I was impressed that everything had been taken care of so well. I had my own little list of things to check to make sure some fees had been reduced or items credited---little things we had negotiated. She did
