I have been to the Sushi Den 30+ times. 95% of the time without a reservation and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated. However, I would be willing to wait hours for the rice alone. I beleive they have 4 people every night/afternoon whose job it is to just make rice. It is by far the best sushi I have ever had. I would not be suprised if it IS infact the best sushi in the United States.
Yasu San and Toshi San have worked very hard not to sacrifice any quality in their food. From designing their very own propane powered pressure cooker to cook rice in, to flying fresh fish in almost daily. Not to mention the chef's are EXTREMELY well trained, and by extremely I mean YEARS and YEARS of training.
