Friends of mine had recommended that my husband and I check out the Grandview because they got a new chef since the last time we were up there (about a year ago). Boy were we impressed! The food use to be mediocre...NO MORE of that...this new chef is great!! I got what the chef's ""special of the evening"" was, baked stuff shrimp with crab stuffing, and my hubby ordered the most mouth-watering medium rare filet that was done PERFECTLY (a frequent complaint of his is that he can never get a good steak done right...NO MORE OF THAT). I drove him crazy all night because I kept asking for a bite. The view was spectacular (a window seat is a must) and our server was friendly and bubbly, but didn't intrude too much. Only con...hmm....that we have to wait until next weekend to go back!
