This was our first time going to Sal and Sams. The service was great, and the restaurant is quite romantic as well. My only problems were that I found the food to be a little bland tasting. Also, the red gravy for the Veal Parmisean was very watery. My wife's spaghetti sauce was runny as well. We both prefer a thicker red gravy.
Therefore, to our liking, the food was good but not great. Maybe it was just a bad Saturday night. After all, it was very busy around there. Everything else about this restaurant, parking, service, the ambience, was above average or excellant, though.
