I love the steaks at Whitleys and I'm not the biggest beef eater. The service is great. Since it's in a Doubletree hotel, the hubby and I enjoy sneaking away for a weekend treat now and then. We always make sure of have a martini (or two or three) and dinner at Whitleys. We don't mind the cozy, quiet atmosphere, though some might prefer a "more happening" place. The service is excellent and the food is splendid.
