Passing through Spanish Fort I stopped by the new mall complex, Eastern Shore Centre, being built. It looks like some wonderful shopping. One of the best pet shops around is Bark Avenue, and just as its name suggests it is very chic. Well, as chic as animals can get. The staff seem very friendly and educated. The sell mostly top-of-the-line products for your pampered pet. Also they have a great selection of pets right there on location: gerbils, hampsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, all types of birds, fish, dogs, cats, etc. Its fun just to stop in and say "hello."
