They are one of the very few places in town who make ""chicken kew"", otherwise known as 'Hai Shu Gai Kew"", which is one of my favorite Cantonese chicken dishes. They also have great Won Ton soup, as well as dozens of other great, inexpensive selectons on the menu. I would love to find a Hong Kong Chef location out by Seabrook or League City, if they ever decide to open a second location. \r
All of their dishes are cooked in the open air kitchen while you wait, and all are excellent. They have been in this location for 40 years, and I've been coming here since I was a kid growing up in Bellaire.
Pros: Cooked Fresh, Inexpensive, Owners on hand
Cons: Small dining room; mainly for takeout orders
