This used to be our favorite Sushi place. After one mediocre experience I decided to give it one last try. What a disaster! The fish had that 'not so fresh' taste, both of our rolls had fallen apart BEFORE arrival, and the salmon skin tasted soggy. I've been eating sushi for many years and the salmon skin was always crunchy. When I brought this up to the head waitress she dismissed me as a non-cultural amatuer. The only saving grace was the apology from the chef and his directive to take it off the bill.
The menu has always been blah compared to 'Americanized' sushi restaurants but the authentic feeling always brought us back. No complaints about the chef or our waitress but the management must acknowledge that the only thing they have going for them is the location. Until they 'wake up' I will spend my dollars elsewhere.
Pros: Location, Ambiance
Cons: Freshness, Flair, Preparation
