The members are all very friendly, and the visible staff as well. However, the place is quite dirty. There is no sprinkler system and parking lot lights are usually out. At least once a month some part of the facility is closed due to equipment failure (the showers disintegrating, the hot tub breaking, etc.) The money-raising campaign was a failure for the first time in the history of the Y. The 'new' equipment is worse than the old, and there is serious lack of equipment. Basically, this is the most poorly mangaged gym I've ever watched fall to pieces. They've lost over half their members- including me. I wouldn't consider the men's area wholesome- it's one of the many reasons I left.
