I remember as a kid when this place only sold buttermilk at the side of the road in the middle of the countryside...ALL flavors of ice cream are fantastic, but you MUST try the butter pecan. It consistently wins out all other brands in local contests, and for good reason. Buttermilk lovers, listen--you'll never buy that sour stuff sold by others again. The chocolate milk is great, too, and I've given my kids and now my grandkids drinks of it as a treat.
The restaurant in Novi has both a store area and a small country restaurant. The restaurant is quaint, friendly and inexpensive.
