I'm a steak snob and while I won't differentiate between the greatest steaks, I will seperate the good from the bad (and ugly!) Fleming's is an All-American steakhouse. I ordered the bone-in ribeye which weighed in at a hefty 22-oz and my date had the regular ribeye (16oz). It was delicious although a bit oversalted. A good steak does not need to be seasoned to death to bring out the flavor. One thing I like about Flemings are the side dishes which are presented with a twist. I had creamed corn accented with parmesan cheese and garlic, simply awesome! The 'Flemings potatoes' are also a new take on classic mashed with cheddar cheese and jalapeno peppers adding a real Southwestern flair. The only downside was eating on the patio and having a bunch of wannabe rejects from "The O.C." come and smoke right next to us.
Pros: Awesome food, Hefty portions, Ambience
Cons: 4 ($), not 2, "OC" crowds
