We were a little surprised by the wait for a table, but we ended up ordering appetizers and drinks at the bar. My dirti martini was one of the best I've had in a while. The cheese crab dip appetizer was pretty good, but we had to ask for more bread and it wasn't sliced very well. We eventually got our table and ordered. The food was delivered surprisingly fast. The servers were great, always smiling. I ordered the raviolis which were simmering in a heavy non-creamy garlic-spinach sauce, which was really good. Another friend had the pot-pie which was well recieved. But, the best bang for the buck I thought, was the hamburger which had bacon and a nice side salad for only $7 dollars.
What I like about living in the Eliot neighborhood in inner northeast is the diversity. Unfortunately, you won't find that at Echo.
Pros: good mixed drinks, fast service
Cons: waited for table, a little spendy
