The owner, who is from Southern Italy has a huge garden behind the restaurant. I nthe summers yhey use fresh tomotoes and cucumbers on thier salads. Fresh Peppers and basil on thier pizza. The eggplant parmagina is fresh from the garden too and it is the best you will find anywhere. They also make home made bread for thier sanwhiches.
Their pizza's are as good as it gets. My friends from Brooklyn used to laugh at me when I raved about my local pizza parlor in NJ...not until they trid it. The've never had a fresh tomato, eggplant, pepper, onion and basil pizza who's ingediants were picked from a garden 1 hour before.....
