I have no idea how this store survives in Brookline. Even BEFORE I heard about the mouse problem on the news, I found myself dreading a trip to this Stop and Shop because I knew I'd fail to find at least one key, yet basic, item I needed. For baking in particular, their selection is poor. The store is dingey and outdated. While you may find an emergency non-food item that you need (more likely that you won't though), it will be GROSSLY overpriced (ex: foil pans, oven thermometers, etc). Thank goodness Trader Joes is just up the road, but we still need a basic grocery store for many staple items, and this Stop and Shop is grossly in need of an overhaul.
