On a recomendation we tried Joe & Maria's new location, on Rt 1. What a great experience! The food & service was superb, just as good as any rest. in the North-End or Providence and right here in our back yard in Norwood. We were informed, that they were having a Special Wine Tasting & Diner on Dec 12'th for the holidays. What we experienced was absolutely GREAT! We sampled 5 different wines from Italy, Spain and Austria, each served with it's proper course. We started with Roasted Candied Shallot, and were delighted all the way to our main course which was a Rack of Lamb, and followed by homemade italian pastries and cookies. Each course was served with a wine made from a individual wine maker with a signatured bottle appropriate for the palate. my favorite of course- the Sangiovese by: Guiseppe Maria Sesti 2002. Everything was great-Highly Recomended
