I've been to Andover Tailoring a number of times and find the service inconsistent. For simple items like hemming pants, I would recommend them. For anything more complex, I would reconsider. I brought in a pair of lined suede pants to be hemmed and taken in half an inch on the waste. The workmanship was below average - the end results were uneven and bunched up seams and loose threads. They used leather glue for the hem, which would have been fine if they had tried to be neat about the application - instead, the glue was smeared and messy. They claim to return the garment to you in the same condition as it was originally dropped off, but that was really not the case.
Pros: average prices, reasonable turnaround
Cons: inconsistent service
