I'm not in the area much anymore, but when I am this is THE place that I always make a point of going back to. They're not open year round, seating is only outdoors-which is perfect for a summer evening-and it's on a major road through Edwardsville, and trust me, this is THE BEST ice cream I've ever had. Their shakes are my absolute favorite. It's just as great a place for an informal first date as it is for bringing the kids for a treat.
