I've eaten at Roux twice & it's exactly the kind of restaurant that North Portland needed. I wouldn't describe the food as French Creole however - Pacific Northwest would be a better description. The flavors were wonderful - we sampled 4 different dishes and the short ribs just fall off the bone, they're so tender and the pork tenderloin with fig sauce is delicious. The ambiance is also excellent - low lighting, good attention to interior details, not too loud for conversation. The waitstaff is friendly & knows the wine list. Definitely make reservations.
Pros: Excellent Flavors, Good Prices, Nice Ambiance
Cons: Bad Parking
