It's telling that Lindenwood is most popular inside the borders of St. Charles County. Most of the students are local, and most potential students who are not local would not think of going there. Many of Lindenwood's practices have long been controversial--from agressive construction plans to unusual arrangements with faculty. The bottom line, however, is that's it's just not a good value. The school's limited reputation makes the tuition seem entirely too expensive. A better education can be had for less money without even leaving the St. Louis area.
