State College is a town of apartment buildings. And, you gotta live somewhere. These apartments a bit off the beaten path, so you won't be within walking distance to alot of things downtown. There is great bus service though, and you can hang out on "The Wall" on campus waiting for you bus. The apartments are adequate, nothing fancy. But, then nothing is fancy in a college town!
