The main attraction is seeing the waterwheel, but a fee is charged for a tour of the inner workings of the ""barn,"" which curiously enough is not openly advertised. The snacks are unimpressive fare at best but with huge lines. You can get all the caramel apples, popcorn, fudge, apples, pumpkins, pies, cider, peanuts, etc. at Farmer Jack at better prices (albeit perhaps lacking in autumn charm). No hayrides. Pony rides for the kids. There is a nice long riverside trail. Overall, this place is not really worth your time if you don't live nearby and if you don't want to navigate the horrendously slow traffic. The half-hazard parking and crowds are also piteous in a way--are we so scenically challenged and historically desperate that this is what we line up for on a weekend?
Pros: Waterwheel, River Hiking Trail, Cheap
Cons: Traffic and crowds, "Food & Snacks", Few Activities-Boring
