I used to work near here and ate here several times a week. There's something about their spicy tahini sauce--my mouth waters just thinking about it. I have actually driven up from San Diego specifically to eat here, as odd as that sounds. Now that I live in LA, I make it out a couple times a month. I'm not sure what happened but I distinctly remember the owner being a much happier fellow a couple years ago. Lately he just seems...down. It's really hard to get more than one container of the spicy tahini. I almost feel like bribing them for more. It's cool to sit upstairs. It's also cool that it's off the main drag so tourists don't know about it.
Pros: great food, lots of seating
Cons: so-so service
