This was my first visit to the Cork and I'm glad I went. The Kansas City strip was recommended with good reason. It was one of the finest steaks I've ever eaten. Every bite was exquisitely tender and ""buttery."" One of the most flavorful cuts of meat I have experienced in years. The potato (described as ""kind of like a large french fry"") was an excellent match. With the juices from the steak and the crunchy exterior, it was a delicious alternative to the standard mashed or baked potato. The creme brulee, while good, was a little over carmalized. It was more akin to blackened.
Overall price was decent, especially for the quality of the food. I've been to other steak houses that cost nearly twice as much and the quality was not comparable.
When I'm in the area and hunger for steak, the Cork is where I'll go.
Pros: ample parking, nice atmosphere
Cons: hard butter (chilled), overzealous brulee
