Alpine Meadow is a resort you can get your hands around in one day. It's a favorite with the locals so it has a very laid back feel. It has a family friendly type atmosphere yet offers a wide variety of terrain. This is one of the best value resorts in the west.
Hint - Take Summit Six and hike to the right to the wolverine bowl on a good powder day.
