when i first moved to chicago i had some car trouble. my dealer said i needed a new alternator and would have to pay close to a grand to get one. a friend of mine suggested i call these guys, who offered a much lower estimate. when i took the car in to them they tested the alternator and found there was nothing wrong with it. so not only did they not try to sell me an alternator i didn't need, they didn't even charge me for the testing. i love these guys and will always go back, even though they're not very close to my house.
