I've been to Thailand, and Thai Pepper is like going back to Bangkok. The smell of the food, the warmth of the smiles, the decor, and even the sometimes cramped quarters remind me of time well spent in excellent eating establishments in Bangkok or Pattya or Chiang Mai.
The Thais are some of Asia's most gracious people, and this essence carries over to owner Tik's three restaurants in Santa Clara, Campbell, and Sunnyvale. In all places I've found the food and service to be true to Thai grace, custom, and tradition.
When I got back from Thailand in '96, I craved hot spicy food.
The only place I found to satisfy that craving was Thai Pepper. Even the Royal Family of Thailand would be proud of these culinary representations of Thai tradition, custom, and service.
