Laptop repair. I stressed urgency and offered to pay extra to expedite the process. This was ignored. I was told they would call me back with an assessment the next day. They did not. I called them, and was told the motherboard was gone and possibly (why didn't they know?) the LCD; that the machine needed to be sent to HP. I told them to go ahead ASAP. A week later I discovered that they were still waiting for me to pay upfront before sending on the laptop! I'd not been told I needed to do this. The machine has now been at HP for over a week and in spite of many calls I have no idea what the status is or when I will see my machine again. Only twice have the staff called me; on every other occasion I have had to chase them, to no avail.
