Growing up between the original Buddy's and Shields in Detroit, I was lucky to have Loui's pizzas nearby. My family later followed him to his own restaurant in Hazel Park. His pizza recipe NEVER let me down. No comparison anywhere to the pizzas and antipasto. Living in NC now, a group trip to Loui's is ALWAYS on my agenda when I visit twice a year. Although I believe family and friends are also glad to see me when I visit, one of the first questions is always ""When are we going to Loui's?""
