Having shopped the world for vintage, I was more than pleasantly surprised to find Animal House, a gem of a store tucked away on Windward in Venice chock full of classic rock and roll tees, hawaiiana, cool threads from modern lines I like such as Juicy, Diesel and Grey Ant, fabulous old Pucci dresses hanging on the wall, and all the hermes scarves a girl could want. I literally can- and do!- spend hours in the store in a dream like state-- every trip I find amazing, one of a kind threads I know no one else out there will have, and their staff is SO NICE!! they totally don't have the attitude a lot of vintage stores have sadly taken on in recent years- at animal house, you walk in and you feel like you're browsing around your own closet-- IF your own closet were way hipper and cooler!
