I was excited when the Davenport reopened -- it has a very interesting history and is an integral part of Spokane's development. It's lovely and has a delightful turn of the cnetury baroque kind of feeling. The rooms are comfortable and the amenities and options were pleasing and ample. However, if you are expecting polished and refined service, you may be disappointed. Service was not poor, but it didn't match its surroundings. I would recommend a stay there if you are passing though or celebrating.
