Went last night to the LRC's season opener of Thursday-night improvised radio plays at Acme. Six performers plus sound effects guy and keyboard guy create an hour-long classic radio play. As with most long-form improv, it's a mix of hilarious moments and jokes that fall hard, but it's definitely worth it (esp if you get the 2-for-1 coupon from the LRC's website). An intermission performance of ""Portuguese Crooner"" Jose had me in tears and Craig Tollifson puts in a peerless performance.
Pros: Craig Tollifson, 2-for-1 coupon, spontaneity
Cons: , ethnic jokes (x2)
