cafe andree offers up the best qualities of the mission district restaurants in the heart of union square. the food, wine, and cocktails are wonderful, the atmosphere is great, and at the end of the meal the price tag is extremely reasonable. once you have tried the tortilla soup, the argentine empanadas, or the duck confit enchiladas, you will be hooked. i also like the fact that the wine and beer lists offer quality choices not often found in most restaurants.
