Described as Round Rock's fine dining venue - it unfortunately hasn't quite realized its full potential. The service is attentive, without being overbearing, the food is generally very good. The ambience lets the overall effect down. Fine dining restaurants do not,in my experience, allow shorts and open toe shoes, nor do they have a ""sports bar"" at one end of a noisy dining area. Better use of noise dampening wallcoverings would help increase an intimate environment. The pricing is good value, though the vegetarian option was below par and certainly much better pasta can be had at any of the pasta chain restaurants. Desserts are highly recommended and the ""at table"" flambe of the Bananas Fosters - certainly was handled well and hinted at the ""fine dining"" experience they intended. Overall, the Main Street Grill has made an effort but remains neither a fine dining restaurant nor a Grill.
Pros: Good Value, Excellent Service, Desserts
Cons: , Ambience, Sports bar
