As a (self-proclaimed) connoisseur of biscuits and gravy, I am always on the lookout for truly great biscuits and gravy. What I found at Barney's Coffee Shop wasnt even close. I read with great anticipation other reviews and promptly headed out the next morning. The gravy was made with bacon (wrong) and was very salty. The biscuits were made with too much shortening. To say they were inedible would be an overstatement, but believe me, they weren't good. Otherwise, standard diner fare with sub-par service.
