Best Chinese in Cincinnati 9/28/2004

I was introduced to Chinese cuisine in Chinatown in the 70s. The first restaurant I visited did not offer silverware. The proprietor, who spoke no English, was quite gracious and taught me how to use chopsticks. So, I guess you could say my opinion of quality Chinese food is somewhat jaded. When my wife and I moved to Cincinnati in 1991 we spent months looking for a good Chinese restaurant. Each time we were sorely disappointed, until we discovered the Grand Oriental. We have been loyal customers ever since. Over the past 12 years we have never been disappointed with the quality of the meals weve ordered. When we have family and friends visit from out-of-state, the two restaurants most often requested are Grand Oriental and Montgomery Inn. Even my children, who are notoriously fussy eaters, will jump at the chance to indulge in a meal from the Grand Oriental. Pros: Food Quality, Ambiance, Family Friendly more
