I recently ate at Akwa and, though I enjoyed my entree (potato crusted ahi), me and my 3 guests had a bad experience with our waiter who employed cheesy used car sales tactics. When my girlfriend ordered a salad and sushi as her meal, he asked ""is that all?"" in a condescending tone as to make her feel like she hadn't met some imaginery minimum order amount. More of the same tactics continued through the night. Overall the food was good, but the service sucked.
