Located in the thick of things on the Sunset Strip, Balboa was a tad smaller and cramped than I had expected. The service was wonderful and our waiter was charmingly quick. However, this is a steak house, so for people that aren't particularly big fans of meat or meaty fishes, this probably wouldn't be at the top of your list. My friend raved about his steak and our sides were great (made for sharing). The bill can be expensive depending on what you order, but it's not surprising for a Sunset Strip establishment. It's better for meals with friends or co-workers than a romantic date.
