Very dismayed, the Jackson House Inn took our reservation over the phone, and did not mention their policy of"" no children under age 14 allowed."" When I learned of the policy through a friend that I was speaking to the next morning, I called back the Inn to verify the policy, and they confirmed. I then asked the Inn to cancel my reservation since they would not allow my 11 yr old daughter to stay, and they refused. The Jackson Inn owner told me that I was within 7 days of the room night reservation, and their refund policy did not allow it. Hmm....the Inn never mentioned any of their policies over the phone, and they get to keep my deposit..sound immoral to me. Buyer beware!!!!
