I grew up at Belle Isle Park. Every Saturday my mom would take us( me, my brother and our friends) to Belle Isle. We would follow the nature trail, swim at the beach, ride the horses, visit the aquarium, fish or just play in the grass. I love Belle Isle. Now my 3 year old son is growing up at Belle Isle. I think that anyone not visiting Belle Isle is missing out on something SPECIAL. And for those who are too ""good"" to swim at Belle Isle, please know that the same governing agencies patrol our water as Metro, Kinsington etc. Belle Isle Beach has never been shut down. NEVER speak against MY park. I LOVE BELLE ISLE.
