It's hard to believe that this restaurant was named ""Best Fusion Cuisine"" by Los Angeles Magazine. I don't know what the heck the chef was doing back there, but dish after dish, I was repeatedly disappointed. Everything we tried was ""OFF"", either too salty, too bland or the combination of flavors did not blend well. The Bento Box appetizer was overpriced and did not have one thing that was pleasing to anyone's palate. There seems to be a lot of Japanese influence in Chef Thompson's cooking, but the true essense of Japanese cuisine is not imitated well at all. And the service... we'd have to wait at least 15 minutes before we'd see our waitress again... and it wasn't because they were busy either. There were only 2 other parties besides us! The only thing going for this place is the decor and the waterfront Ritz location... BLEGH!!
Pros: Waterfront View
Cons: , Service, Price
