after an unusually long wait for a nearly EMPTY dining area, i expected Ixia to live up to its glamorous hype. not even CLOSE, to be frank. the service was slow and unkempt. the tuna tartar was mundane. my date had the duck and i ate the salmon-- both were luke warm and uninspiring. We finished with an uncomfortably large vat of creme brulee. The portions were too big... that is, the focus seemed to be on quantity, not quality. Ixia needs to commit to being a true $ 30/entree restaurant before we will return.
Pros: clean, original, hip
Cons: , slow, unkempt waitstaff
