I moved from NYC to the Seacoast of NH in 2001. I have eaten in many great sushi restaurants. I began frequenting Sake at that time, going about once every two months. At first I thought the fish and rolls were as good as many of the very good sushi restaurants in NYC, like YAMA, for example. I went to Sake today, after not having been there for 4 months...it was not good....quite below average! The pieces were bland, pale, and the toro was filled with tough connective tissue. The rolls were lackluster as well. Everything I had tonight, I have had there many times before, and it was no where near as good. The service was inattentive and it was a bit dirty. I don't think I will go there again anytime soon.
Pros: nice atmosphere, easy to get in
Cons: , parking can be tough
