An average restaurant 7/17/2004

Florentines in downtown Saratoga was quiet an average resteraunt. The food was overpriced for its quality. The ambience was quite dull in that there was poor lighting and not many people. The bread was decent with its cream cheese dip; however, the slices had too much olive oil. the Grilled Salmon was good with extra lemon. The pastas and its sauces lacked spices. Yet, the desert was tasty. The cheesecake was nice and thick. The cannolis were excellent and the tartafuta was good if one was to take out some cream. Overall, Florentines was an average restaurant, with good desserts. I would reccomend sticking to the pizza and dessert menus. Pros: desserts Cons: , lack of spice more
