Tim's is another of Altoona's excellent neighborhood restaurant/bars that specializes in large quantity servings of very well-prepared food.
The chicken/steak salads are enormous. Don't ask for a ""large order"" of fries unless you have 2-3 people around to help eat! Nightly specials are well-priced and great! The absolute BEST home-made crabcakes....large, well-trimmed steaks or meatloaf show up on the list regularly. Tim's is small and a bit hard to find but well worth the effort.
