We were set to enjoy Blue Point when our concierge convinced us to go to Mallorca because it was ""just as good, but cheaper.""
Well it was fine, but nothing special. Our cocky young waiter did not know how to pour wine or remove a lobster from a tail. Bus boys continuously leaned across us to get our empty plates.
As for romantic, didn't see it. The tables were line up in rows in a plainly appointed, well lit room.
The food was pretty good, but nothing special. The wine list was big, but unimaginative and nothing special.
Mallorca may be cheaper than Blue Point, but it's nothing special.
Pros: food, quick service, after dinner liquor
Cons: , not romantic
