Seriously. They use a lot of garlic in it, I think. I could easily scarf up a bucket of their rice without blinking an eye.
So far as menus go, it's pretty much the standard combo dishes and burritos, with a few specials thrown in. Other than guacamole which seemed to have had added mayonnaise, I've never had anything at Casa Pulido I didn't enjoy, although I really wish someone would ask the cook to chop his onions a bit finer. Steak picado is good, and like the other reviewer, I happen to be particularly fond of their chiles rellenos-- particularly in relleno and bean burritos.
Nice margaritas, very good salsa. Service alternates between harried and lagging.
