White's Country Meats in Gresham is by far one of the best butcher's I have ever visited. Their Pepper Steaks are incredible. No, wait, they're beyond incredible. We just entertained a butcher friend from out of state and he said, ""This is easily one of the top three steaks I have ever eaten.""
Also, try their beef jerky and their pepper bacon. In fact, there's nothing their I wouldn't recommend. Bacon-wrapped sirloins, stuffed pork chops, marinated chicken...it's all amazing.
Expect a short wait when you arrive...you'll have to take a number like at the DMV to get service. Also, be careful when backing out of the parking lot as Orient Drive can be a little crazy. Enjoy and don't miss this wonderful meat market.
Be warned, they are not open on Sundays or Mondays!!!
